Baby Skincare🫧🧽

Give me suggestions. We were using honest baby wash (the lavender one). Until I noticed little bumps and a minor rash. Then switched to dove baby body wash and lotion. However I don’t particularly care for it 😅 I just bought Mustela hydra bebe and I love the subtle smell but it also feels super hydrating! Just want to know what other mammas are using on baby.

Pipette (body wash , lotion, balm, and oil) Tuddy todd (all over ointment) Breastmilk soap when I'm out of pipette and coconut oil for her hair

Omg, same here! My baby is almost 6 months old and got her 1st rash. I've always used the Aveeno Baby Wash & Shampoo unscented, but recently (against my best judgment), I bought the Honest Lavender Baby Wash & Bubble Bath. I wanted her to experience the bubbles, but deep down I knew it was a terrible idea, especially for a girl. And she got her first rash! 🥺 Bumps and redness all over her no-no-square and tushy. I feel so bad. Never again. Back to good old Aveeno for us. She also just started eating purees and I heard that the change in their poop can cause their skin to get irritated more easily. I'm getting some Triple Paste (have only needed to use Aquaphor until now) and also going to use muslin washcloths to dry her off after using the Water Wipes because I read that could help.

@Tanya awww poor baby! I’m over honest baby! I used Boudreaux butt paste for his rash and it helped but I think it caused him really back constipation when I kept using it for prevention. So I recommend using the paste only until the rash is gone then back to aquafor. Have your girl had any issues using any type of zinc paste? Wonder if it’s common😅

@Mutago 🤗 ouuu okay! I’ve heard good things about tubby todd! Is it a cream or more like an aquafor feel?

It's fantastic. She had drool rash, and it helped clear it in less than 3 days. It's very lightweight and creamy. Doesn't really leave the lotion feeling on your hands. Feels great and smells 😌 so good

Tubby Todd, Babo, and Pipette are my fav nontoxic gentle baby brands!

Also, the Tubby Todd ointment specifically healed my girl’s baby acne and it doesn’t come back. I use it on her face and neck after every bath, and Babo baby lotion on the rest of her body.

Thank you! I'll give that a try, too! Yeah, I've used Desitin and she seems to be fine with that, but doesn't usually need it. Got some Triple Paste today and did some good old diaper-free time, but omg what a mess. 😅 I kept my eyeballs on her, but she peed twice.

We use the aqaphor baby wash and aquaphor to moisturize. Thats the only thing that doesn’t dry out his skin. I do want to try mustela lotion tho

The mustela cream spray is awesome too! I’ve used a lot of different creams, it’s a thinner consistency and in a spray so you don’t have to use fingers or a spatula
