Baby carrier or stroller for grocery store?

With my husband around we use the stroller. If it was just me then I’d do a carrier. It’s whatever you like more though

I think 3 weeks is so young to be taking anywhere other then the doctors is what my doctor advise. To wait till 3 months

I do stroller if my husband or someone is with me. And I’ve taken my baby out to stores and stuff already he’s almost a month old. It’s refreshing to get out of the house.

Agreed with others about stroller when you have some help. And definitely don’t let anyone make you feel bad about taking your LO out! I have been taking my little one out for walks since a week. lol. He’s 6 weeks & doing great! And sometimes you don’t have a choice! Lol

If you’re only getting a small amount of stuff that can fit in your stroller storage then definitely do that, otherwise I just put the carrier in the cart :)

I keep my little one in a wrap anytime we have to go somewhere. It’s easiest to keep him on me and he’s breastfed so I can nurse him that way, too!

@Jody true but taking a baby out without shots in crowded places, is something to think about.

@Shaylee may I ask what wrap do you use? Also if you keep him in a wrap do people come up and ask to see the baby??Thats what im most worried about people getting too close 🥲

Yes sometimes they do. But I just step back from them and say “he’s not vaccinated so we have to keep our distance for now, sorry!” I use the boba - it’s wonderful for small babies because it’s soft and stretchy (but make sure you set it up correctly and very snug so that it’s not too loose for baby!!) Recently I’ve started using my Wildbird ring sling. It’s soooo convenient but it takes a lot of practice (I practice a lot at home to make sure I’m comfortable before taking it out of the house!)

@Anela that’s why u baby wear or cover ur stroller , doubt baby can just catch sumn from being outside , they aren’t allergic, just don’t let people be all up In ur baby’s face , single mom’s would never get anything done if that’s the case

@Anela some moms do not have a choice, I have three kids and I have taken them all out before shots… they are all thriving. We just have to be careful, wash our hands often and keep away from ppl that may be sick

I've been using the carrier whenever I leave the house like walks, restaurant, etc. Not sure if you have a grocery pickup available near you, but I highly suggest! Makes the trips so much faster & find myself spending less money now lol
