There’s another medication that the doctors can give for reflux that’s better for constipation, my cousins baby is on it, I’m just unsure what it’s called. I’d say definitely go back to the doctors and see a different doctor x
Omeprazole or carobel ? X
My baby has just experienced the exact same and she was severely constipated from gaviscon making her poo really solid. Went back to the doctors today they prescribed her a medication for reflux called omeprazole and also a constipation relief. I personally would be asking to go back and get something else! X
My little girl was on kendamil and suffered from reflux too! We had the exact same situation with the gaviscon so we ended up stopping it! We changed to kendamil comfort milk formula and it’s made a difference! She’s not constipated and it seems to have also helped with her reflux a bit x
We are on the Kendamil comfort milk too and it makes a difference, makes my lo more regular! You can get it from boots 😊
@Emily I was back at the doctors yesterday all they said was to reduce the amount of gaviscon in her bottles and eventually take her off of x
My little girl has kendamil and has really bad silent reflux we now add carobel in each bottle and she has omeprazole every day and is like a different baby! X
I had this exact same problem, go back to the doctors and ask for lactulose. It’s made a big difference for my baby. It’s disgusting that they haven’t given you anything to help 🫠 maybe ask to see a different doctor ?
