Reed diffusers
This may sound silly but are reed diffusers safe to have around baby? My LO is 12 weeks and I was thinking about putting one in her nursery. We only ever use it to change her atm. I've got a nappy bin in there and my husbands a bit OCD and says he can smell them still 😂

@Hazel no, many natural essential oils are pretty terrible for a baby's lungs I think only a small number are safe, such as lavender

@Hazel yeah I think generally anything scented is a no no around babies 🤷♀️

I think the advice is not to use anything artificial and too chemical around babies. It might be ok to use one with all natural ingredients and 100% pure essential oils. They obviously can’t test this on babies though so there isn’t going to be any research on it (but lots of stories of chemical diffusers being linked to asthma in people of all ages)
