Tongue tie dummy recommendations?
Hiya, my 1weeks old has tongue tie he’s not had trouble feeding and we are still waiting for a referral to assess it however he’s really struggling to settle the midwife suggested a dummy but I’ve tried 4 brands and non of them he can keep in his mouth but when I help him he loves it and starts to settle quickly. I know their suckling isn’t the strongest at this stage but also due to the tongue tie I think it’s also playing in affect. Any suggestions on what worked with your babies? Pls share!

I found the one brand my baby would only was was nuk. They do “0-2 month” ones and they are perfect for tiny mouths x
@Jess they was one of the first dummy’s I tried and was gutted that he isn’t taking to it well :(
Ohh noo 😓maybe just keep trying and trying as he’s still newborn it may take some times to get use to them
My baby is almost 4 weeks and still can barely keep the binky in his mouth

my bub doesn’t have a tongue tie but we did struggle finding a dummy she liked and after trying probably a good 20 different brands the tommee tippee ultra light she took to instantly she was already 6 weeks old when she took to it
