I bought a paint by numbers hehe today is day 1 of mat leave for me
@Marina cinema sounds so relaxing right now… trying to get my 1 year old to sit through a film however is not as relaxing 😂

Ah if your 1 year old isn’t in childcare then I imagine you must already have your hands full! My son is in school 4,5 days a week so i am making the most of the independence
@Marina he’s 16 months so with me 24/7! No independence over here 😅😂 my own fault really… 2 under 2 sounded so fun when he was a chilled easy baby!
Seeing all my mum friends from my first pregnancy that it is hard to see because we all work different schedules. Lots of leisurely baths (probably hard with a 1 year old!) Knitting for the baby. Generally getting stuff ready.
Today I went to the cinema on my own and I’ve been for a few coffee/lunch dates as I know I won’t get the chance once baby is here. I’ve also sorted all my jobs that I might not get round to once baby is here (dentist/beauty appointments/new tires on the car/sorted toddlers toys to make safe for baby/ made as many things independent for my toddler like his own kitchen drawer and his own clothes shelf so he can do more when baby is here etc
