Bath after c-section

I was told by my midwife to wait 6 weeks before fully submerging my incision site. I still had a load of scabbing until like 11 weeks so I avoided swimming until after then (we don't have a bath)
I had a bath after day 15 as I just wanted to relax but avoided products in it

@Darcey I'm such a bath person too! I've missed them so much, especially with being pregnant I was only having lukewarm ones!
@Helen I had heard 6 weeks so that makes sense. Mine is still quite scabby on one end too
@Kim hahaha me too with my first, this time round I am having hot baths but always have a glass of ice water so I don't get dehydrated hahaha, hoping my cut heals as well this time round too so I can be in the bath as quick as possible
@Kassie ah that's good to know, I wouldn't have thought about the bath products
@Darcey oh that's a good idea! There's nothing like a hot bath is there. My back hurts so much from feeding I just want a nice soak. Wishing you a speedy recovery with round 2!! Xx
I think I waited about 6 weeks ish.. I was desperate for a bath and counting down the days 😂

I had a bath once my stitches had fully gone and I was able to sit up without my belly being sore, I think it was about 10 days or so after as I hate showers haha, im such a bath person x
