I think it also depends on how well you ate and provided nutrition to your body

I did not take prenatals with my first after about the first trimester. And same with this pregnancy. My first born was perfectly fine.

@Joaa thank you I am more relieved because I was reading to much on google

I’m a November mama but I had a hard time with prenatals the first trimester and skipped half the second trimester and a few days in the third maybe. I think if our baby’s were unhealthy or anything wrong it would come up in the ultrasound scans or doctors would say something. I’ve been taking mine lately a lot better I would just say try to if you can. It would depend a lot on how your diet is and how you nourish yourself. Your body will likely provide for your baby the nutrients first and then just deplete yourself of them so you could have more symptoms than you usually would. I was also vitamin D and b12 deficient so I take those bc they are smaller every single day, even days when I can’t take the big prenatal. Getting a pill cutter and cutting the prenatals was a huge help for me tho. I’m sure your baby is okay regardless. People with worse health and no vitamins drinking and drugs and worse lifestyles than im sure you have, have healthy babies all the time too.

Something I heard in my first trimester that actually helped me a LOT throughout my pregnancy was someone straight up telling me “yeah babies are fragile but they’re also VERY resilient” this advice helped me stress probs way less than I usually would have

@Carly thank you they told me he was healthy and growing fine that nothing was wrong I just have really bad iron also but I been fine so hopefully everything goes well thank you so much for your comment💕

Prenatal vitamins are more for you than for your baby. Your baby takes the nutrients they need from you and you just get the leftovers. I wasn't great about taking my vitamins and my baby is doing great! As long as you're eating well enough and staying as healthy as you can, I'm sure your baby will be okay.

I stopped taking them too and people kept telling me you need to take it because your baby can have problems or you can have a premie baby and this and that, they would scare me but I told my Dr. I struggled with pills and the gummies 🤢 and Dr. said it wasn’t a big deal it’s recommended to take and all but I could take other vitamins but I just can’t stand NONE anymore since pregnant ew. And so far baby is fine and healthy from growth scans! Also, I had a friend didn’t take hers either and her baby was very healthy!

I was the same way! I went through so many different ones to find one that didn’t make me sick. Girl, they have been sitting on my kitchen counter since the beginning of second trimester 😅 my doctor doesn’t even ask about them anymore. As someone above mentioned, if you are getting all you need to give to baby through nutrition then you both will be fine. As long as you have been consistent with your check up’s, routine testing etc and nothing has come up then you should be fine. Don’t stress mama!

I often forgot to take my prenatals this pregnancy and I’m due in 2 days doctor says everything looks good Don’t worry :)

If you’re not anemic or have any deficiencies then you’ll be just fine without em. Eat lots of nutrient filled meals and stay hydrated. Think of all the people who went 9 months not knowing they were pregnant until they were in labor💀

@Karina thank youu yeah everyone is always telling me that also I have a 1 year old and I barely took them with her and now i am due soon so I am just worried because I told some of my friends that I didn’t take my prenatals with this pregnancy either this really help me thank you🤍

@Rylie I am due in two weeks and I was stressing a lot about it because of what my friends were saying but now I am not as worried anymore thank you! 🤍

@Gifty I am anemic I have two iron transfusions already but it’s because I haven’t been taking my prenatals I was anemic before I was pregnant with my kids now I guess since I was pregnant back to back my iron just got really low

@Joshari Rodriguez of course girl ❤️ Don’t listen to anyone negative comments about not taking them. At the end of the day, if your Dr. is not concerned you shouldn’t be concerned. That’s how I had to tell people that would run their mouth because I won’t take prenatal plus I am severe anemic, I would just be like STFU my Dr. said I’m fine so I should be fine! Don’t let anyone scare you.
