Bottle teat size

Hi, I have a 5 week old and we are currently using test size 0 (mam bottles) because she has reflux, but she is taking ages to finish the bottle and often getting frustrated, has anyone changed to teat size 1 at this age/ with a baby with reflux?

I have literally just had the same conversation with my other half. We have been using both sizes and with the size 0 he was only drinking 1.5 Oz as he was falling asleep drinking it like it's tiring him out... but with the size 1 he's drinking about 3 to 3.5 oz and sleeping "slightly" longer. We feed him whilst he's sat up and keep taking breaks and wind him alot and then keep him sat upright after he's finished feeding for about 10 mins and so far so good just had the regular spit up I would say ... And we are just using the regular aptamil for reference. Xx

I would change baby to size 1

We changed to one early on as she seemed to drink better with the size one.

I am breast feeding and give a bottle at night. I have found the mam bottles get a lot of air in but have to use one atm use I tried a size 1 newborn one in another make and it changed her latch however if your not breast feeding the dr browns anti colic really reduce the air and her gas compared to man in the size 1. She refused twice then took it.

We have been using size 1 since birth as they are still newborn teats. He doesn’t have reflux though.
