😂😂 I had a similar experience with the first car seat!! It actually beeps when it not in correctly, I thought it was censoring my swearing 😂 Which next stage seat did you go for?

@Emma my maxi cosi was like that 😂 they’re such a pain lol 😂 I went for the Joie I spin 360 it was the only one that was recommended to me again and again so I bought it and in hindsight it was easy to put in when you know what you’re doing but doing it for the first time was a challenge had YouTube guiding me

Haha to be fair it was before we got a bigger car so being heavily pregnant in the back of a tiny car wasn’t my greatest idea 😂 Ooh thanks, I’ll have a look. Definitely want to stick to a 360!

@Emma just be mindful 360s only harness to 18kg which is great if your child is below the 50th centile but won't last if the child is above x

@Emma oh no! I’ve got a tiny car and while my partner was at work after already asking him to help me when I realised he wouldn’t I did it myself his car is a 3 door and it was awful climbing in the back of that at 37 weeks pregnant (me being worried my baby would come before his due date because he was measuring big) 😂 and it was a pain and I have a small car myself so fighting a big seat into the car was not fun! As Emily has mentioned below the car seat may not last very long for a bigger babe. My boy is high centiles but every other seat I looked into just didn’t seem that great so I’ve taken a risk that hopefully in a couple years I’ll have enough money to get the best seat for my boy! Xx

@Emily thank you, yes I’m aware. My eldest is dinky and her sister is also following that trend! I’m a bit conflicted on car seats, I’ve had my eye on the britax max safe or one of the axkids but the tethers are really putting me off. I’d rather stick to isofix, and the swivels in these brands are more expensive for a smaller weight range so I’ve currently given up looking for these and ERFs 🫠

@Emma honestly I thought tethers would be such a faff but they are honestly really easy !
