Early scan

I had an early scan last Wednesday, with lmp the 14th also, Showed 2 sacs, one empty and one with a healthy baby and heartbeat measuring 6w4d so smaller than I expected x

My LMP was 5/8, ovulated on CD36 (a lot later for me than normal due to a chemical) and I’m 6 weeks tomorrow, technically going by my LMP I’d be 8+6 today🫠

I've had this happen to me in April, unfortunately it was not positive outcome for me and turned out to be unembryonic pregnancy / missed miscarriage which I had induced with pills to pass the pregnancy tissues. But don't give up hope yet especially if your cycles are not regular or are unusuallg long, I've seen some positive stories from women who seen empty sac and were just earlier than expected and then seen baby in following weeks. So having everything crossed for you for positive outcome mama! 👏✨️ My cycles are always very regular and 29 days long so I knew it just wasn't meant to be then and had couple of rescans all shown same size of empty sac. I was very surprised at how common this is as I have never heard of it before it happened to me. We are now successfully pregnant with our rainbow 🌈 and have seen baby with heart beat on scan at 7 weeks.

I went for an early scan, thought I was 7 weeks and only saw an empty sac. Went back a week later and saw a baby and heartbeat measuring 2 weeks behind what I thought I was.

I had a scan at 5+3 after a bleed and we didn’t know if it was going to be a viable pregnancy. All we seen was a yolk sac and I was meant to be about 7 weeks. I had to wait 2 weeks for another scan and we seen baby and heartbeat on the scan 2 weeks later at 7+3. They said I must have ovulated later than my cycle said I would but baby’s okay so far and now 9weeks
