Feel so overwhelmed

I have a 17mo and sleep is really taking its toll - the thought just gives me anxiety of what is to come night and day. Since 4 month regression it’s been very wakeful and always needs to feed back to sleep. Ive tried to make some changes but it’s just horrible she gets so upset. My husband can put her down for naps most of the time and starting to do some bedtimes but sometimes it’s really hard. I’m sat here now in the other room listening to him try and put her down and she’s screaming. He then gets annoyed at me because he feels changes should have been made sooner and she’s too reliant on feeding. Says it always has to be my way but I’ve just been trying to do what I can with what she’s needed. I feel so overwhelmed and don’t know how this is going to get better. She gets so upset and neither of us are good with the crying. It causes so much tension and feel like it’s going to break me or our marriage 😔 Sorry for a negative post I just don’t know what to do

I don't have much in the way of advice I'm afraid. I have a 20m old still feeding to sleep and cosleeping however just wanted to come let you know that your LO needing to feed to sleep or not being great at sleeping is not your fault. It's perfectly normal and natural (unfortunately for us and our sleep deprivation) for them to still need that comfort. Some babies will take to having it removed better than others. There's lots of gentle training methods out there that someone else may be able to advise on and hopefully help you ❤️

You can definitely find some gentle methods suitable for a toddler, there may be some crying just because of change and toddlers aren’t a fan! But stick with whatever you decide (you and your other half) and really commit so she starts to understand what to expect and that really helps.

Thank you so much ❤️ I think I just need to try and get more comfortable with the crying as it just really triggers me and then I feel guilty or that I’m doing something wrong.
