Baby Toys!

What toys are good for babies at like 0-6 months? Is there any point buying them?

Yes, definitely a good idea to buy toys. Even if you don't think much of them, they're great for their development. We have soft textured books, black & white cards, a play mat with sounds and different textures, rattle toys etc. And each day she prefers one over the other. I highly recommend them x

By the way, my baby is 4.5 months, and we've been using these practically since birth x

Theres no point of buying them honestly my baby is now 1yo i bought him toys since he was 3 months he would look at them and toss them a side my sons favorite toy right now is a water bottle and a apple remote. My friends told me to not buy any toys and i looked at them like they were crazy just save your money after 1yo thats when they get a little more interested in toys. I just purchased bath toys and a abc toy truck

I definitely think every baby is different though, like it helps a lot for play & tummy time, plus you don't need to buy hundreds of pounds worth. Most of our stuff is from amazon or like cheap shops, and you don't need to buy like 10 toys, only a couple. But definitely good for their development, although things like peekaboo and playing music are equally as good for them x

Faves in our house with tiny ones have been suction cup spinners, Tomy egg box, stacking cups, activity triangle. They more watch you play with them to start with but then start enjoying bashing them and trying to play themselves as they get a bit bigger!

Piano mat. My baby loved that until he could roll then I just took the piano bit off and he plays with that still at 9.5 months

My two-month-old enjoys the play gym, piano mat, and black-and-white books. We have a lot of fun using mirrors and taking her outside to see the trees and shadows.
