Frizzy hair

My 20m LG’s hair has been frizzing up at the back of her head and washing her hair only seems to make it spread. The rest of her hair is mostly straight with a little curl at the ends. We wash her hair maybe a little over once a week unless she puts food in her hair. We use a shampoo for kids but I’m wondering she needs a leave-in conditioner? She loves bubble bath but I’m not sure if that’s making the frizz worst. I don’t know if I could tell her she can’t have it tho, since she’s finally starting to enjoy bathtime. When I brush her hair, it just makes the hair soft but it doesn’t do anything for the frizz. Is there specific brush I should be getting her for frizzy hair? Has anyone got any potential solutions to resolve the frizz?

Comb or brush whiles it’s a little damp, I have a little stray bottle. Use a leave-in after shampoo And look into a curling cream or gel and use just a little after the leave in for the whole head of hair just maybe just that area. do you want money? Press play which one let’s see.

We have a frizzy hair babe too! It mainly come from when she is sat or sleeping and the hair rubs (I also have frizzy/wiry hair) Aldi had a kids conditioner the other week so I picked it up, I have a kids detangle spray I spray her hair with and brush whilst it’s damp, occasionally I run my fingers through the back of her hair when I’ve used hair oil on mine to she gets the tiny remnants to help keep it smooth. As it gets longer it gets easier cause of the weight in my personal experience. I have to have long hair or I look like Tina turner x

@Nothando thank you, that’s very helpful advice. I can actually tonight if we can brush her hair just after her bath. A leave-in conditioner definitely seems like a great idea. I’ll also look for the curling gel at Boots.

Detangle spray and hair oil - I’ll also add those to my list for the next Boots run. Does this mean you’re using this oil kind of like a leave-in conditioner? I have to leave mine shoulder length lol too short and it just looks so wrong and when it’s too long, it struggles to stay in a bun when I tie my hair up. I get a little frizzy hair but not nearly as bad as my daughter’s lol

Also my husband told me that this problem started when she started using a duvet. He reckons she moves even more now that she’s using the duvet. A friend also recommended I revert back to the baby comb for a little longer 😅 so I gave that a wash earlier

@Nothando a hair bonnet is definitely an interesting idea I hadn’t considered. I knew some ladies used hair bonnets but now I finally understand why 😅 thank you. So last night I used a baby comb to brush her hair while she was still in the bath, and then again after she was dressed, and it seems to have resolved the fizzy volume she had hehe.
