Bath tub recommendations

My baby in any bathtub I tend to be given tries to turn of flip. Very unsafe and scary. I’m looking for a good one that she can sit up in. But I don’t know what would be a good brand. I don’t want to buy it and doest’t work yk.

https://a.co/d/2W081T5 We got this one. It’s good for a bath seat, but I find bath seats make it more difficult to bathe my child. We ended up buying a non-slip mat for our bathtub

How old is baby? I bathed my baby in the sink until 12 months. After that we used OXO tot splash and store tub. At 18 months we started bathing in the regular bathtub with a bath mat.

@AnnaShe is 7 months. My concern is her trying to keep flipping around makes bath time harder and worrisome

@Kassidi I might just have to buy a non slip mat. How little water did you end up putting in the tub when bathing?

I normally fill it somewhere between his butt and his belly button. The official recommendation is 2-3 inches (5-7 cm if you’re not US lol)

@Kassidi thank you, I might just have to do that. Ever since I let her play in the actual tub without being in the baby one that’s all she wants to do 😂 My family makes me feel like I have to have a baby tub, got told she’s too young to play during a bath.

My son was not a fan of not being able to move around either! We stopped using the baby tub long before he outgrew it. I don’t think there’s such a thing as too young, if she’s able to sit independently and you’re right there to make sure she’s safe then it should make bath time better for both of you!

Frida baby grow with me tub

I have a Frida baby grow with me tub and I just sit my 9 month old on the sling so he doesn’t slip and stuff if that makes sense

If she wants to be in the big tub I'd let her. A non slip mat is a great play surface! A little bit of water is all it takes.
