Black out curtains for nursery

Any recommendations on black out curtains or treatments for windows? There are ones you apply directly to the window (adhesive), blinds, and curtains. Putting them in nursery and bedroom.

The Tommy tipee portable one works really well:

I got black out curtains but light can still get through the folds in the curtains so I find the Tommee Tippee great for that full blackout. Long term I might look into a Roman blind to go behind the curtain

I bought cheap ones from Walmart cuz I have them in my bedroom and had them for years. Work just fine

I just got regular ugly black out curtains. They work, they don't break the bank and help a little with noise suppression from outside.

In my daughters room, we've got ones with suckers but I tuck the fabric round the window when it's open and then shut it to keep it in place because the suckers aren't very strong. It's very good at keeping light out though. In our room we've got ones that are stuck on with adhesive velcro. It's not as good at keeping light out but the sun doesn't shine right in our window like our daughters room.
