I’m pissed
Okay so my mom often takes my bothers kids for the night, today my nephew was asking to go there and out of no where my mom makes a plan that my nephew is coming to my house with my other brother (he’s childless). I didn’t indicate that I wanted company and I wasn’t asked if that was okay with me. I’m so tired of my parents just not even considering me at all and just “oh yup this is the plan” 🙄🙄 don’t really feel like I have a say, I don’t have a good excuse so I guess this is happening 🙄

I’d just say no and that you have plans and you won’t be in you don’t have to put yourself on the back burner for the sake of other people
Just suggest can’t do today we’ll have to reschedule and leave it that
Oh, I usually pull the whole we aren't going to be home that day. Then just make plans to go to the park or zoo
I like Tyra’s suggestion for the group chat but after that I’d follow up privately with your mom and tell her that she needs to check with you first before suggesting that other people can come to your house. You DO have a say, you just have to be willing to enforce it.
