Spotting at 7 weeks 1 day

Hi all, first time pregnant after IVF fresh embryo transfer ! I am 7 weeks 1 day and woke up this morning to some pale brown spotting it happened for my first 2 toilet trips and then went away. But I’ve just been again and now the spotting is more pinky but still pale and watery/light. Is this anything to be concerned about ? I’ve read loads about it being normal but can’t help but be worried about our little bean! Anyone else experienced similar ? Xxxx

Could be implantation bleeding I had it at 7 weeks with my son honestly tho I didn’t get it this time with my daughter

I know it’s scary but try not to worry too much. I had a bleed when I was around 8 weeks with my ivf bubba and had spotting until 11 weeks and it turned out to be the result of bruising from all the poking and prodding of the ivf. Google tells you bleeding in pregnancy is the end of the world but it’s actually really common to bleed during pregnancy and happens to more women than you think. Keep on eye on how much you’re losing and the consistency and if you lose more than a pads worth in a few call your clinic x

Thank you so much ladies 💕💕 I’m off work today so will try and just relax and take my mind off it. It’s very light so I won’t worry until anything else happens. That’s so true, I guess I forget how much has happened to my body as well just prior to pregnancy. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it 🥰 xxxxx

Spotting can be a completely normal occurrence in pregnancy. Not sure about the process of IVF but can you request an early scan for reassurance? At 7/8 weeks you should be able to get a fairly decent image x

We have a pre booked scan with our fertility clinic next Thursday ! Fingers crossed all is ok ! Thank you for the reassurance, I’m hoping it’s just a normal part of the process 💕 xxxx
