Pelvic floor exercise’s/ Walking around the block and focusing on eating healthy (Animal based diet ) low carbs / high protein meals.

@LOVEE I was thinking more to get my strength back in my stomach rather than weight loss or anything because it’s very weak after 2 c sections

Have a look on YouTube and type ‘core strength exercises after csection’ and a load will show. I picked different ones depending on how I felt.

Walking & swimming

If you can gain access to a stairstepper you’d see excellent results in core, leg, and glute strength and that should be low enough impact to start doing at 6 weeks PP from a C-section. If you don’t have access to a stairstepper, just going up and down some stairs and being mindful of engaging your core would also basically be the same thing

I did swimming to start off with and then Pilates after 8 weeks x

Walking walking walking. I was shocked at how long it’s taking me to get active as I was before pregnancy. First baby vaginal delivery I was doing HIIT at 6 weeks, I’m 11 weeks now and working on doing a damn jumping jack without hurting myself. Your tissue is not fully healed until 12 weeks so keep that in mind. I strongly suggest pelvic floor therapy. They are fantastic at helping you reach your goals and getting back to you faster. In the meantime walking is fabulous or light weight arm exercises like 1-3 lbs can do a ton on the upper body even for 10 minutes

@Taylor always wondered. Pelvic floor therepy is that like something you ask your dr for a referral to like if you needed physical therapy or is it something that you YouTube exercises for?

@Sierra you don’t need a referral! But your doc can recommend someone. I didn’t realize what they really did before this c section and mine is so much more than just pelvic floor she’s really knowledgeable and helping me strengthen various parts of my body and slowly working to my intense exercises I used to do but I’d probably have prolapsed if I hadn’t gone to her. At 6 weeks I started “going slow” and I had no idea how slow I really needed to go and I don’t do slow 😅 so naturally didn’t feel great after a week or two so called a good Pelvic floor therapist. Also didn’t realize how much the pelvic floor really does impact so many things! And how OBs aren’t exactly knowledgeable when they “clear you” worth a shot but after two kids- I didn’t want to risk long term issues later. I’m sure others can chime in on pelvic floor therapy many recommend it

Walking walking, snd then gradually did walking on incline, and squats and lounges and then like 8 weeks pelvic floor exercises

@Jess yes. Pelvic floor exercises will be the key to gain strength back in your core and stomach
