All my kids ssn came in within 2 weeks give or take a day or 2 if they where born on a Friday
13 weeks (Orlando, FL) they told us it would take 6 weeks

I thought I got my sons right in the hospital before leaving so no more than 3 days but maybe things have changed. Winter park hospital 2.5 yr ago
So… here’s something most people wouldn’t know. Was you baby in the nicu right after being born for a bit of time? They don’t give social security numbers to babies before leaving the hospital. Should get it about 2 weeks after your baby is discharged from the hospital for the first time. I found that when I had my son. I should mention my son was born in New Jersey. So I don’t know how long it takes to get it here. But the social not getting assigned until after the baby is discharged is a federal thing.
Hmm maybe a week or two. The BC was next day.
I did the application the day after she was born, and I got it exactly a month later

It was around 2 weeks - a month for me. You can always call the SS office and ask them for an update or ETA. Have you picked up his birth certificate yet? If not, you can always ask them about it there as well.
