Bath
How long did you all wait to have a bath after your c section? I love a bubble bath but so nervous to use products anywhere near my scar.

I was told at minimum no sitting in any water for 6 weeks, so lake's, rivers, pools or my tub.
I took my first bath at 6 weeks like normal and everything was fine the doctor also gave me the okay

No baths or swimming for 6 weeks.
I had mine about 3 weeks after but a shallow bath so incision wasn’t touched, I’m 4 weeks now and have had deeper baths just no bubble bath etc
Lol woops. I went in before the bandage came off. I was never given any guidance any self care after c section or anything from the hospital. Once bandage was off I had a bath every other day to help with pain management and it woukd be a proper bath

I love my baths too! My first was 6 weeks, no bubbles or anything product wise until a few weeks later. Your still at risk of infection even though the wound is healed. Give it till 8 weeks maybe ☺️
