Just a thought and wanted feedback

Okay so December birthdays are coming soon. I ended up making my own invitations to his birthday party. I loved making them and I know they aren’t perfect when it comes to being centered and even. But I thought I could work on them and get better. Now my thought is so sell customized ones through Etsy or something like that. I’m currently a SAHM and tried doing a remote position that didn’t work. But I was thinking with this I can set my own pace and deadlines depending on when they were needed. Do you guys think this would be worth it before I start investing in fees and more items? Thank ya’ll for the feedback! Below is the front and in the comments will be what the inside looks like

I think this card is super super cute! But that being said your own online business has its own downsides You have to value your time as well How long does it take to make one? What if someone wants 100 or something/you have other orders If it takes even 10 minutes per card are you willing to spend that to make even 50 cards? That's 500 minutes for ONE ORDER if you charge even minimum wage (let's just put it at 10 for simplicity) that's 50 bucks for 50 cards which is almost an entire day of work And that does not include cost of materials or the large percentage Etsy takes out or shipping Plus you have other orders and are competing with something like Shutterfly which you can spend almost nothing for large amounts of cards. So it may just be fun as a little side thing but maybe not as sustainable and may be more work than you realize This is coming from someone who does art prints and also gauged time/cost for a similar prospect and was like no it seems like too much work. But it's up to you

@Casey no thank you that’s awesome feedback. Like I’ve talked about some of that with my husband but not to that depth. You bring up good points. Thank you!
