My doc calls me “advanced maternal age” :) I was stressed about the genetic tests as well, but it all turned out ok. I’ve now gotten to know quite a few woman who’ve also had their first baby at my age, or even older, and they have all had healthy babies and pregnancies. Try to just take every bit of info as it comes and not worry ahead of time. It solves nothing and only makes you go crazy!
Hey! I’m 38 with my second - my scan is next week. I had my first at 36. Try not to think about age and I sure hope no one is saying anything about it!! What genetic testing are you doing?
Why in the world would they call it “geriatric”. It’s insane! Just don’t stress about it to not stress baby, and you can ask them to not call you that way because it makes you feel nervous. I would say that with the very advanced technology you will most likely be fine! My best friend had her first at 39 and now is thinking about a second baby next year when she will be 42. Her baby is my baby’s best friend and as healthy and smart as my baby. You’ve got this!!❤️❤️❤️
Try not to stress. Your stress can stress the baby. Just remember how precious the gift of life is that you've got growing in there
