Unscented laundry soap an if not allergic u can use essential oils to smell good

Seconding the unscented laundry detergent comment! We did go through a phase where no matter what, our laundry smelled like mildew, so we started washing every load with warm-hot water and kept up with weekly deep cleaning. No fragrance needed. I add vinegar to each load and add an extra rinse. I started using it to get smells out of workout clothes and towels. It worked well and now I add a bit to every load.

Baking soda in the wash! Works for me! Just dump a scoop or two in there… I think it can affect colors in theory but I’ve never had an issue!
