Growth Scan

I'm 27+5 and just had my Growth Assessment Scan today. My baby is currently on the 62nd centile but its estimated weight is coming in at 2Ibs 6oz, is that a good thing? I have another growth scan booked in 4 weeks time.

I had one at 28 weeks and they said over the 50th and under 90th is where the want them so that sounds like all is good xx

Yep I can't remember exactly the numbers but the range is between something like 10-99 that they are happy with (give or take a bit) so your baby is in the middle area for estimated size 👍

The consultant I spoke to today said anything between 10 and 90 is good

I had my second one today at 29 weeks and I’m measuring on the 97th centile 🤦🏻‍♀️ got a meeting with a consultant in a couple weeks!

As long as they're between 10 and 90 centile they seem to be " happy" with growth. But remember centiles are there for a reason. Not every baby can be in the middle. Some.have to be 1st and 99th! And neither is actually cause for concern accruing to NICE guidelines
