Warrington EPAU and private scans
Has anyone been referred to the Early Pregnancy Unit at Warrington Hospital? How long does the process take?
My GP referred me yesterday because I've had some bleeding. She said it would be 24 hours, but I've not heard from them today and I'm assuming they're closed over the weekend. I don't think my anxiety can wait until next week! I'm 5+6.
Thinking of getting a private scan in the meantime. Any recommendations for early scan clinics in the area? I have a car and I'm willing to travel.

I filled out something on 111 when it was a weekend and it gave me alternative EPUs that are open on weekends to contact. Be warned though, they wouldn’t see me at similar gestation to you, as the bleeding wasn’t severe, or accompanied by pain. I think they see it as too early.

I was referred it took about 2/3 days for them to get back to me. But if you want a private scan show your bump in Wigan is really good. I went with my first pregnancy and I’ve gone again in my second pregnancy
