Anyone in Early Days @ Palmerston place?

There have been so many unpleasant surprises that I am wondering if raising a concern would help at all or if I shouldn't even try and rather look elsewhere. Has anyone got their LO at ED? Have you seen improvement after you discuss what is going wrong?

I’ve been considering putting my little boy on the waitlist for early days. What are the issues??

@Heather my baby girl never had a nappy rash before we joined nursery. Now her bum gets sore quite frequently I would say. When I brought it up, the staff just said that babies have sensitive skin, but we never got issues at home before. Then, a few weeks ago I asked for the baby bottles back to switch the teats for a bigger size. I noticed 2 bottles had black mold built in the lids. How can it be that the staff didn't notice it? Can mold grow even if bottles get sterilised? Last week my baby got lice. Some friends with older kids got the same problem at another of their nurseries, but how can this happen now with the baby group? The staff mentioned it is pretty common and that maybe my older kid passed them onto my baby. Our eldest doesn't have any lice. It is just making me wonder if I should even address this or take it as it is. We are already missing a lot of nursery days due to illness but all the previous things can improve. But will they?

The mold in the bottles is disgusting! That sounds negligent. I see your issue, if it were just one thing it would be worth a discussion but it’s the amalgamation of problems…. I really hope they make the necessary changes after hearing your concerns if you decide to discuss it with them.
