Easyjet cabin friendly stroller

Hi! I will be traveling with my son shortly, and I am looking for a cabin size stroller (for easyjet). Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!

Graco stroller!

Which Graco stroller do you suggest?

FYI they don’t always let you.

@Kya don’t always let you what?

Hiya, I own a buggy cleaning business and I would recommend the YOYO stroller every time.

Hi @Joanna why would you recommend the yoyo? What I do not like about it is that it does not fully recline nor it comes with the footrest.

@N 💞 take it in the cabin.

We have the Joolz Aer which I thoroughly recommend. Doesn’t come with the footrest(got one on vinted) , but recline is good.

@Kya if you can’t take it in the cabin surely you can put it in the hold?

@N 💞 yes of course you can. What I meant is no need to waste money on buying cabin buggy which will just go in the hold anyway.

@Kya ooh I see! Sorry we go away tomorrow and I started panicking they’ll refuse the pram!

@N 💞 ha no worries, have the best time!

Thanks for your comments! It is true what you say@Kya but I would still like to have a pram that could go in the cabin. How do you find the recline system of the Joolz Aer? Do you find it easy to put back upright with the infant with that zipper?

@Laura it was a bit annoying at first, but got used to it pretty quickly.

I have the bugaboo butterfly which is great and looks nice. Easy jet didn’t let us take it on board tho, but you get 2 free hold items with a child and a changing bag to take on board. Other airlines let you bring them on board though

@Laura My customers love it mainly because they have no issues taking it on flights. It reclines easily via a toggle at the back, has an over-the-shoulder handle and is both sturdy and lightweight. It’s also simple to “YOYO” open and it does have a footrest—though seeing it in person would help give you a better sense of it for a proper review. It’s also worth noting that it holds its value well on the resale market.

Thank you all! @Joanna I am going to go check it out. @Ki I like the butterfly very much, but sadly it does not comply with Easyjet large cabin bag measurements.

@Laura folded (45x23x54), its actually slightly smaller than easy jet dimensions (45x25x56). They genuinely wouldn’t allow anyone to bring any type of compact pushchair on board. We all had to leave them to go into hold

Thanks @Ki ! I went to mamas and papas and they told me it was not cabin approved so I had not checked the measurements! Xx

Hello, we've had the Ergobaby metro plus for about two years, have travelled three times, and are extremely happy with it. I believe it's around the same size as a yoyo but more affordable. Hope this helps! https://ergobaby.co.uk/strollers/metro-stroller?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpP63BhDYARIsAOQkATbqokwOynoAPQoHxiCWnpxMgwkPPCC3L_fagbeUDZehJ6AZxpSlUpkaAqFSEALw_wcB

@Laura they don’t know what they’re talking about hahahaaa. They are cabin approved but easyJet are just awkward and funny about everything, honestly 🙄 x

I have the Yoyo - it's compact and light.. but it has dodgy wheels (known problem!). I wouldn't recommend it coz of the price for the risk of getting one like that. Not all are affected but there's just too many complaints about it that I definitely wouldn't have got it if I had known before purchasing. It means I can't walk fast with it. Minor.. but at that price, very frustrating! I loved the Silver Cross Clic - tested it at JL and we wouldv got that as a second pram if we didn't already get a Bugaboo to use for at home. Also recommend Bugaboo for build quality (but not sure on the dimensions of any that would be cabin approved)

@Ki I’ve flown with them 6 times, only once was I allowed to take it on board. And it was everyone, including the yoyos that went in the hold. They just want your money or to make sure there is space for all the people that paid their money for extra cabin bag.

Yo-yo

Defo recommend going to a John Lewis though and trying out what is comfortable for you. More than it just being cabin approved. What was most important to me was, recline, one hand folding, weight, height of headrest and height of handlebar (as most compacts aren’t adjustable). We are quite tall and found with yoyo had to hunch over a bit. Liked butterfly but it was on the heavier side.

They approved but I prefer to go always with THY is the best they have everything to help

@Kya you read my mind! I am planning on going to John Lewis tomorrow!

@Kya literally they’re so irritating. They wouldn’t even let a mum on her own bring it on. So bad

It’s plenty of comments here so mine one can be repeating above. But from my own experience as travelling on many occasions alone within last 1.5 year when our little one was born I’m super happy to leave the buggy in front of the airplane and would never change. It’s easier to bring stuff to the airplane - you don’t have to carry baby, the changing bag and on top of it buggy. So it’s so much easier.

@Silvie when you say bring it to the front do you mean check it in? Any issues with prams getting damaged?

Then babyzen Yoyo is allowed. I flew easyJet today. Be warned they often require you to have paid for an overhead bag to bring it on unless the flight isn’t full.

@Shirley no check in. You just pass the security with the buggy and then give it to the airport staff just before you go up the stairs to the plane. Never had any issue with damage of the buggy.
