Could see but couldn’t hear heartbeat
We had an early scan at 6w5d & saw heartbeat baby measuring right size too. Another scan a week later, baby had grown but doc wasn’t able to get the ultrasound Doppler to pick up the heartbeat, I could see it flickering but it didn’t look as fast as before although doc said it was fine but didn’t give much of an explanation for why it couldn’t be heard. This was my last appointment at my fertility clinic, I’ve been discharge to the hospital now and next scan is in 4 weeks. But I wonder whether anyone seen but not heard the heartbeat before at 7wks, I have fibroids.

I didn’t hear my babies heartbeat until about 18 weeks, only saw it on the screen during the scan
At my scan today (9 weeks) the sonographer said they don't turn sound on that early and just showed us the heartbeat on screen. Maybe that's why your doctor wasn't concerned - it might be quite unreliable early days.
It was the same with me...I just saw the heartbeating,but I couldnt hear it...I was with 6w
