Inconclusive scan
I found out I was pregnant with number two a couple of weeks ago, I booked an early scan as my husband is away for a couple of months and to see if everything is as it should be.
It came back as inconclusive and that the age looks around 5w3d which I know is far too early. But they weren't very clear what that means? Is it not progressing and I'm just waiting to miscarry? Or is it just very early and I have nothing to worry about. Has anyone else experienced this?

They have but if I'm honest they made out I'm just waiting for a miscarriage, the service wasn't great if im frank and it's made me very deflated!
Do you know when you ovulated? It might just be early but I had the same when I thought I was over 7 weeks
It just means the heart is not yet beating- give it another 2 weeks and go back- you will know then- very normal for less than 6 weeks

I had this with my son, he’s now 20 weeks old, in all honesty it means it’s to early to tell; I was adamant I was 6 weeks and was actually 4 weeks, please don’t jump to the worst case scenario, I know it’s hard, but I assume they offered you another scan in two weeks to check xx
