Cradle cap

Any one knows how to treat or rid of cradle cap. My son is starting to get little bit.

Espically in the early weeks when they don’t have a lot of hair I find it works to just take a baby brush and baby shampoo and scrub/brush in circles and throughly rinse

He has a lot of hair

Aw so precious 🥰 it might still work But the official way to do it is using coconut oil before a bath and then taking a fine bristle brush and scrubbing it off while wet and wash as normal

Thank you love 🙏🏼💙

What does it look like ? Just curious my daughter has a lot of hair too and wondering if I should be looking out for it

Game changer. I first use it with baby oil and let it sit for a couple minutes, rinse, then again with baby shampoo with the scrubber. 2 or 3 times a week depending how bad it is

@Sapphire definitely try the baby oil. It'll help break it down and come off easier. We use the sauve baby oil and has good success with it

FYI if it’s bad enough and hard to get off your pediatrician will prescribe a medicated shampoo I still have mine but I don’t use it cause it resolved on its own

tubby todd!

don’t use shampoo or anything other than water!! I waited a week after birth to bathe my little guy, and now bathe only with water and a baby washcloth. He’s 5 weeks old almost and no cradle cap!! And his dad and i both have sensitive skin

and use coconut oil!!! not baby oil!

For my son, I use a cradle cap comb and a shampoo called happy cappy. It’s both a shampoo/body wash. It works wonders.
