Yup! We used the pressure ones that you don't screw in you just tighten against each side.
I’ve never drilled my stair gates. Most are pressure fitted these days. Cuggle is a brand of stair gates.
If it’s for the top of the stairs it’s unfortunately not safe to use the pressure mounted type. It’s really not many holes and you’ll have them up for a few years most likely!
I have munchkin and safety first gates which don’t need a drill, use pressure and double sided sticky foam for the bracket that holds the gate.. there are many like that too
@Sudanny✨ we've got one with sticky pads but I wouldn't trust it not drilled in, we used the sticky pads to stick the brackets so we could drill them in and they just pulled the paint off and came away from the wall anyway- I don't think they would take a child's weight x
@Natalie ahh fair enough... We just use it at the bottom of our stairs as she climbs it often & due to how our stairs curves at the bottom plus it's got a banister, the other options don't fit, so this is our only option 🥹😭x
We've just bought 2 retractable ones and they are light as a feather and soooo easy to install ... So much lighter than the metal gates x Edit- I haven't seen retractable gates that are push fit through x
