What to clean a pram and car seat with?
I've just bought a secondhand double pram & carseat. They smell slightly of cigarette smoke. How would I go about cleaning it and not damaging it?
* I may not use the carseat yet, she included it in the price and money is a little tight at the moment. I'm going to buy a new one but this is just in case I can't manage to get one in my budget before lo is born as my other carseat is a 360 one🙂

The fabric should come off both pram and car seat completely, put them in the washing machine at 30 and they’ll be fine. I have read in some cases not to use fabric softener on carseat covers as it can have an effect on the fire retardant on them but I’m not sure where I got that from so don’t take my word for it. But yes all should come off and be washable (many a poonami has occurred in mine 😅)
If the model names and brands are on the units, you may be able to find an instruction manual online?
If it doesn’t come off I’ve used carpet (no vac) sanitiser and stain remover then hose down and leave to dry in the sun. It helps a bunch and smells fresh
