Could you maybe pay for a private appointment and get the ball rolling that way? If your gut instinct is telling you it’s something else then you’re right you can’t give up!
To me it just looks like a soothing thing. My son does the same thing. Especially when he’s sleepy.
Could it be when she’s trying to poop maybe? 🥺 im sure my little one used to do something similar when he was 💩 I’m sorry you’re not being listened too though! Condescending drs are the worst! 😒 I hope everything is okay and you get another opinion soon! x
Could be soothing or it could be trapped gas she’s trying to wiggle out
@Danielle same my son does this when he’s sleepy and needs a nap - like he is literally fighting it lol
I hadn’t considered soothing as it seems so far from it as she looks and sounds so uncomfortable 🤷♀️ I’ll keep an eye out if it ties into just waking/being due a nap just incase it’s related We don’t think it’s gas or poop as she does it at all times even if she’s well winded or done a huge poop (but maybe related?!) And she doesn’t have any CMPA symptoms (although GP didn’t even ask how she fed in the latest appointment) My work has private healthcare for me, so I may get in touch with them to ask if there’s any possibility to add a child. With maternity pay being so shocking I’m not sure we could afford a private opinion 😢
My 10 week (almost) daughter does this too! I usually put it down to wind even though she farts more than any baby I’ve ever met!
My girl does it and I put it down to dust allergy. Ever since we've bought air purifier she has stopped, though funnily enough she did this again yesterday and today and I've realised I've not checked the filter(which was full of dust) hoping she will stop tomorrow/Saturday.
Is she purely bottle fed?? It could be CMPA resulting in stomach issues. Persist and push with the doctor /
I think it looks like soothing action, my boy used to do similar. The head rubbing/nuzzling especially he would do when he was tired or wanted comforting
Maybe an osteo could review and help
You could try a chiropractor? 🤷🏼♀️ might be worth checking into.
Our daughter does this quite often. I normally take it to mean ‘I want boob’
It looks fine to me If it's colic, they scream in absolute pain for at least an hour at a time.

Yep I know 100% it’s not colic hence asking thoughts. It really annoys me that that’s what the GP has diagnosed as it’s just lazy! I’ve kept an eye on it today and she doesn’t seem to do it when tired as it can be mid wake window so really not sure it’s settling related, who knows! Thanks for thoughts anyway everyone ☺️
