Anyone else measure small??

hold up they measure your belly ? through out my whole pregnancy they have never measured me

They did yes; this was the first time for me but I think it’s common in the 3rd trimester!

Have you read expecting better? A lot of times drs worry about this or cause unnecessary panic on this issue

I measured 2 weeks ahead, 36 at my 34 weeks appointment😩 I measured small with my first and she was totally healthy!

I've been measuring a week behind ever since they started measuring me, I'm thinking it's because of my height(5'8") and the fact she might be kinda small

They have told me my belly is measuring small, but it is growing the appropriate amount between appointments. They just think she will be a smaller baby, but my son was small as well (6 lbs 10 oz)! They didn’t seem to want to do an ultrasound with me yet though.

They told me my first would be 9 lbs. he was 7 lbs 12 Oz. This one they say is small in the 25th percentile but my midwife told me not to worry and that they’re usually wrong.

My belly has measured small at every appointment and they scheduled me two extra ultrasounds because of it but both times they said he’s growing just fine and I may just be a smaller lady

Yep I was 30 weeks measuring 26cm and 32 weeks measuring 29cm lol we did a growth scan and baby is believe it or not on the 90th percentile HAHAHA so everyone was a bit confused just putting it down to carrying it differently 😅

Yup measuring small too- 3-4 weeks behind. Hes only 3lbs at 32 weeks unfortunately

I’ve been measuring a couple weeks behind for a while now & my doctor has been doing growth ultrasounds every month & baby has been growing just fine, she thinks I just carry on the smaller side and I’m 5’3.

@Jess girl you should definitely ask about this at your next appointment! I’ve never heard of a place not measuring! From what I know it’s a routine thing they’re suppose to do to make sure your baby is progressing appropriately 😊

My belly measures perfect for some reason but my baby has been "smaller" for months and I've been considered high risk ever since. Ultrasounds and nsts every week. Up to like 3 appts per week..its insane. Hopefully your baby is fine and maybe you're just a smaller lady 🧡

I was tiny with my first and he was 7.5 lbs, a spaceship with my second and he was 8.5lbs

Everyone is different. I get the feeling with your body type you will be smaller and then pop right at the end. Don't worry too much yet, that measurement system is also very old school.
