First multiples scan
At which scan appointment / how far long were you when it was confirmed twins
I had two scans before they found the other baby at 19 weeks 🙈
Just wondering how common this is I assumed twins were found at first scan 8-12 weeks

I worked at my OB office so I got a scan on my lunch break one day and at 5w2d saw two sacs, I got scans every other day for the rest of my pregnancy and we watched them fully develop from empty sacs to full blown babies on that screen, they were like a little office experiment 🥰
My first scan was 8 weeks, told 1 baby, went for my 12 week scan when they found 2!
12 weeks but it was my first scan! I’m amazed that you didn’t find out until then!! Wow!

we had an early scan at 5 weeks and was showing two babies in two sacks :)

I had a super early scan at 5 weeks and saw 2 sacs but only one folk went back 2 weeks later and both had strong heart beats. And was able to tell us the type of twins as well (DCDA) they are now 20 months 🥰
