Baby urine smells strong since weaning

I would take her Dr just to have it checked. Ask for it to be sent off to the lab! My little boy has had 2 urine infections since being born and the smell is how i noticed, his almost 6months. We have a appointment 22nd to have kidneys checked. X

@Jodie how does the urine smell exactly when your LO had an infection?

Have you switched napped recently I've found some brands make the wee smell a lot worse

@Layla is very strong, i can't describe the smell exactly, but it smells to the point I can smell it through his clothes and his 2.5 tog sleep suit. X

@Jodie that happens to my LG and now I’m wondering if she’s had an infection and I haven’t noticed it, and usually it’s on days where she’s fussy also so perhaps it’s that x

Is she teething? HV told me that when teething their urine will smell stronger as it’s more concentrated due to extra dribble x

@Layla has it gone away now? His doesn't go away but gets worse. Always worth a check doesn't take alot for them to send it off catching the wee is the hard part x
