Anyone's dates different to what they expected?

So I had one at 6+4 for bleeding and to see if I had miscarried. They could see the baby and dated me at 5 weeks. I'm now 12 weeks by my dates and my dating scan is at 14+3 because they didn't file my paperwork. If by there dates I would be about 13 weeks. However I know when I had my period and I know give or take a day when I ovulated as I was tracking so my dates will be correct. If there dates come that scan are correct I'm going to be asking how or if I should be concerned. X
@Emma I had this with my first baby, early scans are give or take 5 days. By my 12 week scan, I was only measuring 1 day behind my own dates based on my period. I hope this helps provide some reassurance ! 😊 x

I think it's just thrown me as I thought I was nearing the end of the first trimester 😂 It took till a week after my missed period to test positive so it could have been a later ovulation 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks ladies - wishing you all well with your pregnancies xx
@Jodie did the hospital book you back in or private? I have my 12 week scan next week but I think I will be around 11+2 and would love a second scan x
@Zoe K The hospital booked me back for a re-scan as I'm only 10+5 so its too early for dating/screening. There wasn't another appointment free until I'll be in my 13th week. So you should get booked back in if they are unable to get the measurements they need at your scan next week
@Zoe K the hospital booked me back in. She said she could have used the measurements she got on the day but would prefer to take them past the 12 week mark as they’re more accurate x
I had my scan and I was measuring 11 weeks 1 day and was rebooked in two weeks time - it’s just a nice excuse to see baby again! X
