My mum would comb my hair with a nit comb after a bath when my hair was wet because my hair is fragile and breaks easily. That may be the way to go to avoid frizzyiness

Combing and lots of conditioner! If she does get it just buy a lotion/remedy to kill then all lol

Tea tree oil works pretty well my mum used to drop 3 or 4 drops of it into my shampoo as a preventative.

My hair was the same when little, my mum would cover my hair with nit solution even if I’d not got them. Then use a nit comb closer to my scalp. The solution it’s self I think did the job as I don’t ever recall having nits myself x

My mum switched our shampoo and conditioner to tea tree as this is supposed to repel them. I know a couple of girls used to straighten their kids hair during nit season so they were checking through sectioning and obviously the nits didn’t do well with heat. Teach your daughter about how they can jump from head to head and so to be careful not to get too close if someone is scratching etc. but if it’s going to happen then its nothing you can do except be ready for the comb through and treatment.

Tea tree oil ! They hate oily hair.

Plaits or braids and tea and combing with conditioner if you can

I kept my girls hair in French plaits/braids and oiled it up with lavender oil as they hate the scent and can’t cling on

They have shampoos and sprays that prevents them.

We use Fairytales Lice Conditioning spray. If you're in USA, you can find it at Target or Walmart. I spray it on my kiddos hair every morning before school. My kiddo got it in preschool from another child and it was the worst. I vowed to NEVER let that happen again. That was 5 years ago and this spray has helped. Best of luck with keeping it away 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽!

Thank you everyone I'm going to try some of these and hopefully they stay well away 🤞🏻
