My sister gave me my nephew car seat. Idk how old it is how do I know if I can use it ?

Try to find the expiration date on it, and if it’s been in a car accident I wouldn’t use it even if it’s not expired
Look for the manufacturing date to make sure its not out of date and check the brand etc what car seat is it
