Belly bigger than head..

Did someone ended up being on emergency c section due to the size of babies belly? I had my 36 weeks growth ultrasound and baby is already 7 ponds and her belly is bigger than the belly.

No I had a planned one, as baby was measuring 10 lbs 3 at my 40 week growth scan and his belly was the thing that was measuring big on the scans x

I had a c section but no emergency and just the size overall her belly was always off the scale she was born at 37+5 at 8lb 9 she was 6lb 4 at 35+5 scan

No I had a planned one too because my daughters belly was bigger than the rest of her and she was weighing 7lb15 when I went to my 35 week scan. We planned a c section when I was 37 +1 and she came out perfect. She was 8lb2 and she was absolutely perfect! Please don't worry about yours ❤️😃

at my growth scan at 36 weeks she measured 68th percentile whereas her belly was 98th. they weren’t worried, i had an awful delivery however that was due to a failed induction that lasted a week and had to have csection on my due date, she came out 9lb 15😅. xx

I’ve just been to a 37 week scan today and was advised to have a c section as my baby is measuring big and it’s her belly that’s bigger than her head which puts me at high risk of shoulder something (can’t remember the name 😂). I had a traumatic first birth, so hoping that a planned section would be calmer at least 😂🙈😬 x

Oh I see everyone had a c section that might be the route they will take me.. thank you everyone I will keep you posted

@Cathy.. did the doctor recommended the c-section or they just said to you about the risk and let you pick? Thank you

@Juliana Sacardo I kind of already had it in my head that I wanted a c section but with her measuring big and me being 4ft11 🤣 I was concerned 😂 the doctor just went with what I wanted

@Juliana Sacardo have you decided what you want to do? 😀

@Cathy I am very confused. Last app the doctor said she is not that big, I have many doctors in the practice. I am 39 weeks and probably will try to go naturally and if necessary emergency c section. They did not do yet another ultrasound to confirm the size I am getting worried

@Juliana Sacardo I don't think they will do anymore scans. My last scan was at 35 weeks and that's when they said she's estimated to be 7lb15 🤣 If they aren't concerned and you want to try naturally then definitely do that 😄 sometimes the estimations are wrong on the ultrasounds anyway so go with your gut 😀
