I did WGU which is 100% online and at your own pace. I did an entire bachelors of education in 10mo. All I have left is student teaching which is the last thing I need to get my BA and license. I highly suggest WGU if they offer what you’re looking for!

I go part time and have my bf stay with my kids while I go. My major is pastry arts so I do have to do the cooking in person but I do the rest of the classes online. I only go to school once a week on my bf’s day off. I usually stay in my room to do my online classes and give my kids snacks, tablet/tv, toys or activities while I study. It works out great

So I am currently enrolled in lone star college and I’m doing 4 classes that are 8 weeks. My baby goes to day care and when I can’t pick him up dad picks him up. I am working part time. My partner helps out with some stuff such like cooking and taking care of the baby. You just got to figure out a system that works for you and find the best classes for your schedule

I go to school full time but i go online so I don’t have to pay daycare. Your husband or support system will definitely have to be active in my opinion for it to work and understanding of your school work. Every Monday my assignments are due and my husband and son leave the house for a “fun day” until bath and bedtime. They obviously do things during the week too but i know i will have that time every week to do whatever i couldn’t during the week. For me its worked out fine, I’ve been doing school and am not overwhelmed , still get to spend time with my family, have a social life and accomplish my goals but dont know how it will be with two kids

I go online thru ASU

You also look for different resources to help you financially. I know that workforce solutions has a lot of options.

@Hilda my college also offers daycare!!! It’s currently full but I plan on taking them next year to daycare so I can get a part time job

@Marilyn definitely looking at colleges with lots of resources

I go to a community college and it’s so much easier

I actually got pregnant while doing my MSW program 100% online at Regis College. They were so supportive, and I just graduated Summa Cum Laude in August. I also had a lot of support at home with my S.O. and family. Having a strict schedule really helped. It is time-consuming, and it does take away from being a mom a little, but for me it was worth it.

@Dory wgu.edu? I looked on there, didn't see a dietetics program listed

@Vinesha I was actually looking at that college. Is it self paced, would I be able to do part-time? Or would I have to go fulltime?

@Jade my husband is only home 2 weeks A month. Was definitely thinking of using the ymca as childcare while I study in the library that's attached when he's gone

@Nafisah now that's a goal! I would love to graduate with honors

@Jade Im full time so I can finish faster but its very self paced. They split the semester up in two sessions so you take to two classes at a time in each session in the span of one semester. I'm not sure about part time but I love it. I'm currently pregnant and have a 18month old and I'm not stressed at all about school

@Vinesha oh nice. It's accelerated. I do great in those type of classes. Legit got straight As doing summer semesters. Did poorly in regular timed courses. Thank you. That is good to know. I can definitely see myself going to ASU then

@Jade darn I’m sorry. I didn’t know what degree you were looking for when I recommended it.

@Dory it's all good. I can always pass thr info along to tur next person asking. Nothing is ever wasted information

I did part time and took mostly online courses. Was lucky to ask my mother to watch my daughter the two days a week I needed to be on campus

@Jade With the right support and dedication you can! I recommend researching the degree you want and see of there are online versions or whichever track you want to take. Good luck!

I currently go online at Purdue Global. I'm only taking two classes. My classes are at night when my little one is sleeping but you can always recordings. I thought it was going to be tough but 3 weeks in it has been cool.
