I’m looking for toddler car seat front facing

Do you have a good budget? I’d look into car seat safety UK on Facebook if so

I'm slowly educating myself but I'd look at joining car seat safety UK on fb as they've got lots of helpful information. Though from reading previous posts on that group they are unlikely to be able to give you advice on forward facing seats.

You won't be advised on forward facing a 2yr old. It's much safer to keep them rear facing until at least 5. Car Seat Safety UK or Extended Rear Facing (ERF) Car Seat Safety UK are good groups on Facebook. Avoid Smyths and Halfords with a barge pole, especially if you're unsure yourself.

Deffo not forward facing , in a crash children can be internally decapitated if forward facing

Rear facing! Join fb group car seat safety uk that’s where a got all my information from. I have an axkid mini 3

Rear facing for sure and Swedish plus tested! Join the Facebook groups suggested above, they’re very helpful x

We’ve got the Britax Max Safe Pro. I’m in the car seat safety group on FB and it’s recommended. We got it on offer too which was great. 100% don’t recommend forward facing, why are you wanting it?

My son doesn’t want to sit in the car seat so thought I’ll try forward facing

I completely empathise but please do reconsider. Kids just don’t like being confined but I’d rather a stroppy grumpy child than a dead one and that sounds dramatic but that is the likely reality if you crash with a forward facing car seat :( have you tried toys etc in the car?

If it helps my little girl has always hated a car seat, but then she also hated the pram and a sling. We finally came through the other side when she turned 2 as we can talk more effectively about what she can see out the window. She's rear faced. Before turning your little one, I'd suggest trying games, favorite Teddy etc if she doesn't want to go in the car seat now I ask her which Teddy she wants to take. She picks one and gets in. My sister turned her boy round so he's forward facing, it worked for a couple of journeys but after that he still screams each car ride. Ultimately its your decision though, so do what you think is best for your little one

My daughter currently hates getting put in but is fine when she's in. You're the parent - it's your job to keep them safe regardless of whether they like it, because they are 2... Why don't you post in one of the groups mentioned above and you'll probably get very good advice? Like what seat do you have just now and are they rear-facing? What is their height and weight?
