Sudden aversion to water

My 15 month old has a sudden aversion to water - until last week she LOVED having a bath but now, it’s almost like she’s terrified. She screams so badly and clings onto me - I’m worried that if I force her into the bath it’ll traumatise her. Has anyone else faced this with their little one? Thanks x

My sister went through this with her daughter, they managed to gradually convince her to only put her feet in the water, and that they would just wash her, she didn’t have to sit in, if they tried to make her she would get terrified. It went on for months then she got over the fear

While standing in the bath, she had no problem as long as she was standing…

Ah okay - my little girl won’t go anywhere near the bath 😫
