Struggling to be a mum and wife

Hello, I am finding it really difficult atm to be a mum. I feel like I'm not enjoying it. I am always tired. I don't have time to get myself ready anymore. I feel so low all of the time. I feel awful cause i often think i should just leave and let my son and his dad be happy without me. I feel they would be happier without me. I don't feel happy with my husband either and I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like i am drowning. 😭 Someone please help me.

I’m in a very similar situation 😩 My inbox is open.

Could you be having postpartum depression? I know it’s not easy speaking from experience but maybe it would be good to reach out to someone? Maybe your doctor? Do you have a trusted friend or family member that you can speak to?

So sorry you’re going through this..hugs 🫂 FYI - they would NOT be happier without you, don’t let your mind trick you into thinking that

I completely get this!!! I’m a mom of 4 and struggled with the same feelings, but I assure you that your husband and son would NOT be happier without you. I would highly suggest reaching out to some mama’s that can just be with you and sit with you and let you know this is completely normal and we’re here to help and support!! I feel as mom’s, our needs tend to go to the side, but what we don’t realize is that our needs are just as important too! And we can’t pour from an empty cup! Feel free to message me! You’re not alone and it’s ok!

I’m dealing with this too but I’m a single mom- it sounds like you are dealing with depleted mother syndrome

I'm so sorry to hear this 😞 I'm here in solidarity 🫂 xx

Would you like to talk about it?

Please seek guidance from a doctor. It could really help ❤️

This is exactly me. I can’t get those thoughts out of my head. My perinatal psychiatrist started me on Abilify yesterday
