Nursery prep

I'm going to be ordering furniture late this month I think to be here around november/December, due the end of Feb

i have a jan 24 baby and she’s still not in her own room and doesn’t have a nursery, she’s in a cot in our room and we will do it closer to the time of baby no.2 being here so there no real rush unless you want to of course x

Due mid Feb and have ordered nursery furniture to arrive early November so it is done pre Christmas.

I'm waiting for the black friday n Xmas sales late nov/ early Dec hoping for lots of bargains 🤞🙂

This is my second baby and if I could go back I wouldn’t have bothered to do a nursery at all for my first. And that is when we moved house when he was 4 months old so I didn’t even decorate it until then. The furniture we bought hasn’t really been suitable for his needs as he’s grown and also a bit pointless as he never did sleep in his cot. And he still sleeps in our room at 2 and a half years old and his room is still mostly just for clothes storage 🤷‍♀️ I wish I’d just saved time and energy then decorated the room when he was a toddler and could tailor it more to his interests and furniture that actually works to his needs. Just sharing this because I know there’s a huge pressure on social media to have these beautiful finished nurseries when baby is here but it’s really not necessary. Baby will be with you for at least 6 months anyway so you do have time.

We've already done ours! We got very excited! Lol! We aim to have everything ready by end of November so we can then just relax :)
