Concerned

Hi guys I’m a first time mom and I might sound super paranoid but I just want some other opinions. So my baby has been on enfamil gentlenease for a month and a half and before he was on similac I changed it from similac to enfamil because I felt like he was spitting up a lot. Ever since I changed it he’s been doing good up until I started to notice him squirming after a feeding and like rubbing his face 24/7 like he’s uncomfortable. Now I totally understand babies get gassy sometimes but I give him gas drops before feeding(not all the time). He squirms and touches his face all day and I wonder if he can have a milk allergy he was getting a little rash on him stomach but it went away. Also when he is doing the squirming it’s like he’s more so focused on rubbing his face. What do you guys think ?! I mentioned it to my doctor he has an appointment Wednesday but has anyone else been through this please let me know and any recommendations that could help me out !! Thankyou

Have you changed his bottle nipple?

Yes I changed it to a faster flow from a size 0 to a 1

Milk allergies show has constant vomiting after bottles and bloody/mucus poops. I went through it with my eldest and one of my twins.

@Ashanti I done this but had to immediately go up to a two! As my son was getting too tired and not finishing bottles

Ok great I will try that thankyou so much!!!

Hope you find something that works for you ❤️

Sounds like fatigue probably.

My baby was on Enfamil Gentle ease and also struggled with gas. We switched to Kendamil Organic and it has been much better. I haven’t had to give gas drops since switching.

My baby has been on similar 360 total care since day one. It’s rare she throws up and when she does it’s only a little bit. Only like twice ever has she thrown up a decent amount but that’s because she didn’t burp before laying down. Things I always always make sure to due are: 1. Burp her half way through her bottle and after her bottle 2. Make sure she’s not laying flat when eating, more of an upright reclined position 3. Try and hold her upright for 5-15 min after a bottle, I’ll use this time to give some extra love and cuddles while I hold her upright on my shoulder 4. Gas exercises before bed. Some tummy time to help put pressure on her tummy to release some gas. I gently but with enough pressure rub clockwise circles on her belly, I move and shift her hips in a figure 8, gently push her knees to her belly and she’ll let a fart out every time if she has gas. (Google gas exercises for baby) I also use boon nursh bottles that collapse on themselves to avoid air and reduce gas
