Those with a new baby + multiple kids - how often do you shower

I have a 10 day old and a 15 month old Think I have showered 3 times max in those 10 days It's like I have to force myself to look after myself between the broken nights sleep, breastfeeding and spending time with toddler

Every day. It's absolutely non-negotiable for me. I appreciate it's different for those who may not have a partner x

Everyday.

Everyday... I feel sick otherwise. But there are instances when I am so busy with stuff( managing baby, home, office work, cooking) that i am unable to. But i will shower later in the evening when my baby is sleeping for the good night sleep or the very thing the next day.

@nimisha My eldest kid could be asleep by 8pm, I try and shower at 9 or 10, and he instantly wakes up Yet if my partner is in the shower and even plays some of his music whilst in there, he stays asleep 🫠

I have an 11 month old & a 4 1/2 year old. I shower every single day. Even when my oldest was a baby & when my youngest was a baby🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve never found it to be a problem.

Everyday. My newborn is a Velcro baby and I try to shower around her naps but there’s no way I’m picking up my eldest without a shower so if she’s awake I put her in the swing by the bathroom door and play calming music. If my husband is home then he’ll entertain her whilst I’m showering.

I jump in the shower as soon as my 1 year old is asleep as I know I have a 30 min max 😂 I think 5 min shower every day could be manageable x

Yeah.. I have even taken bath at midnight 😂😂😂

In November my kids will be 3 and 1. I shower daily, might skip a Saturday if it's a stay in day and we don't do anything but typically I work every day so I want the cow shit washed off before bed. Usually the kids are asleep when I shower but I've also put them in the crib to play or cry for a minute to shower. Hell I've put them in the tub with me to play while I shower 🤷🏼‍♀️ I know not everyone needs to shower daily but I never understood how someone could never find time or a way to

I’m so sorry for all these comments, please give your self some grace, sounds like you have a lot going on, sounds like you are completely exhausted and just the thought of getting in the shower is just too much, I have curly hair and I wash my hair maybe twice a week! It’s better for your hair anyway. Lol. You just had a baby. You are doing all you can. If you need someone to talk to that won’t judge you, you can message me! ❤️

@Christi why are you sorry for the comments? A question was asked and answered?

@Christi washing your hair is not exactly the same as washing the rest of your body. I've always washed my hair once or twice a week, doesn't mean I don't have a shower the other days.

Like 3 times a day with the baby

Honestly my personal hygiene was ignored those first few weeks. Between sleep deprivation, newborn life and mental health issues, it was too much. Give yourself grace and make sure you make some time for yourself when you can. Taking a shower at night when babies are asleep helps me.

Everyday, though in those early days of newborn life was hard, some days I'd be in the shower at 1am.

I have a bath with my 2 year old while dad spends time baby every evening and sometimes shower as well

Every day for me; if I’m not clean and happy I’m not set up to be the best parent to my little one, so it’s my one non-negotiable to start the day. She sits in a seat and watches me get ready, then it’s nothing but attention for her the rest of the day 🤣

Everyday for me. Not negotiable.

Every day. I just put her in the bathtub with me, she plays in the water whilst I shower
