Vitamins

Which vitamins is everyone taking? I tried pregnacare for the first few weeks of pregnancy but it gave me diarrhoea and they were too big to swallow anyway. So i swapped to the nhs ones which only contain folic acid, vitamin c and d. I needed to take vitamin b complex so iv started the viabiotics b complex. Is that safe during pregnancy? It contains folic acid too

I was on pregnacare and they made me soooo sick. So I just took folic acid up until 12 weeks, then all I take now is vitamin d every day. Midwife told me last week that it’s all I need, and just to avoid vitamin A. She said make sure I’m getting enough protein but as I struggle to eat meat through this pregnancy to have spinach etc x

@Jessica i started the vitamin b complex as my hair has been falling out in clumps and i was told the b vitamins and biotin would reduce the hair fall. X

I’ve been taking Thorne prenatal complex during the first trimester and now switched to Vitamin Code Raw prenatal. Both have vitamin A as beta carotene, which is converted to vitamin A on “as required” basis, which reduces the Vit A toxicity.

I take the bassetts pregnancy gummies, they taste lovely just like sweets.
