Makes me sad that we never got to have a ‘nursery’ for our little boy when he was a baby

We live in a 1 bed flat so he’s always been in our room but I’m sad that he never got a nursery. Any one else?

Your little one will never know. Photogenic “nurseries” are really just for show and social media, they’re not important. I wouldn’t dwell on it 😊

My first born never even used her nursery. Complete waste of space tbh and end up being used as storage lool

We’re still in a 1 bed flat with my little one just turned 2! He loves that he gets to stay with Mum and Dad and seeing his little face when I wake up brightens my day! I’m sad that when we move, he won’t be there! If anything, I feel lucky that we’ve got to share more time with him in our room xx

Our girl slept in our room till she was 2. We had no space either. Tbh my friend had a pretty nursery and the baby never slept in it, always was in their room and an awful sleeper. It was literally where her clothes were kept, that’s it xx

To be honest I think nurseries are a waste of time. We have a two bedroom house but the second bedroom didn’t become her bedroom until she was well over a year old because she shared our room until then. Yes nurseries look great and people enjoy doing them but they don’t get much use in the early days.

We had a nursery in our first place all finished before my son was even born and never really used it! Only for sleeping… This time around we are not touching the spare room until we’re ready to move the baby out of our room, don’t feel bad about it, baby won’t remember having a room, they are probably happy to be sharing with you anyway! X

It's no biggie tbh! My eldest didn't get a super nice room as we were in a tiny two bed and our wardrobes were in his bedroom. My second didn't either because I was too tired if I'm honest. He's 16 months now and still has never slept in his room so it wouldn't have mattered even if it was super cute

All these Instagram videos of peoples nursery wind me up! Baby stays with you at least first 4 months anyway so mostly goes to waste etc

I worked all through my pregnancy to get the nursery ready. I even paid people to come in and do some work like a built in wardrobe etc. My girl has never slept in there lol she is almost 2 and still in our room and tbh, she will likely be in our room until she outgrows her crib or wants to be in her own room. Her room is basically just clothes storage now. Don't worry about it. Baby just wants to be with you ❤️

The only reason I wish I'd sorted baby's room in pregnancy is because it's more difficult to do it now she's here. She's still in her next to me and we will save money by never buying a crib or toddler bed - we're going straight for a single size floor bed, if we sorted it in pregnancy we probably would've done the whole crib set up.

We never used a nursery. He has Coslept with us the whole time. What we were going to for decorations - a mountain theme- he would have not liked because he doesn’t like animals! Nurseries are not necessary. I understand you wanted that but so many kids don’t actually have a IG or Pinterest worthy nursery.

I never did nursery as it was not needed for us. It's very expensive and useless as baby was in our room the whole time. Baby didn't care at all either as the only thing that matters is being with mom. 😊

Ours had his first nursery at 7mths when we moved house from a 1 bed. Wouldnt worry at all!!!
